Head of Engineering I Division Minerals

To strengthen the Minerals Division Team in our Headquarters in Wörth, we are looking for a technical expert with production and raw material knowledge in the field of Kaolin. Introducing new insights, technologies, as well as the opening and integrating of new plants into LASSELSBERGER Group require an ambitious personality with team player qualities, management skills, internationality and affinity for technology.

You will be responsible for

• Gathering information and build-up a deep technical knowledge of existing and new production facilities;
• Establishing standards, processes and work routines in all production sites in cooperation with local technical management to optimize production process; 
• Developing innovation projects and encourage technical plant standardization;
• Closely cooperating with and providing recommendations for the local engineering departments regarding investment projects and technical plant steering;
• Price and terms of delivery negotiations of production related materials on divisional level;
• Close cooperation with International Head of Business Development especially in Greenfield projects in the selection of suppliers and all technical equipment.

You bring along:

• Several years of professional experience and profound knowledge in project management in the field of mechanical/process engineering and/or management of one/several production sites
• Completed higher technical education (HTL, FH, university), commercial knowledge
• Very good English skills, German of advantage
• Good IT skills such as MS Office, know- how of CAD design (AutoCAD, or similar)

The gross monthly salary offered ranges from EUR 5.500 to EUR 6.500,- on a full-time basis, depending on qualifications and experience. Further package details will be discussed after a personal meeting.
